The Aeotec Water Sensor 8 probe can be utilized as a dry contact binary input, allowing it to seamlessly connect with a wide range of third-party sensors. Devices such as reed contacts, alarm systems, and smoke detectors can be integrated easily and their open/closed status is read directly through the Water Sensor 8. This enables you to monitor external sensors within one unified system, expanding functionality and simplifying smart home integration without the need for additional hardware.
